Today is the first day at my new job and I realized I hadn’t blogged since my Dad passed away on March 24th.
Instructions were: Design an app icon.
Instructions were: Design a landing page.
Instructions were: Design a credit card checkout form or page. Don’t forget the important elements such as the numbers, dates, security numbers, etc.
Instructions were: Design a sign up page, modal, form, app screen, etc.
I think that I have decided that it’s time for an adventure! Time for a change of scenery incoming!!
It has been a while since I wrote here. Perhaps its because as a freelance designer I haven’t been working as hard or as OFTEN as I should have.
I really thought that the job hunt is going to go a lot smoother than it has. A lot of trial and error but I think I have a system in place now that is comfortable for me.
I’m finally satisfied with the way my portfolio content is being generated.
I already miss the structured day going to class everyday provided. After taking a few days off to relax, I realize that I need to keep the same schedule going to be productive.
After spending what was a pretty restful weekend before demo days. I go to finesse my project with some feedback from Sam Kapila and somehow destroy one of my branches history,
Yesterday Aaron taught us some light Jquery using us as actors to illustrate firing an event and the resuting action. That all made sense.
Still recovering from my hospital stay and trying to get things back on track code-wise. I’m still behind on the weekend assignment…stuck with a content div that won’t move.
Things are clicking better now. I am enjoying creating from mockups, which was always my forte anyway.
I thought I was ready. I really did. The amount that I was not prepared was staggering.
